Singing Together by Lizzy Hardingham
Here I am on a school night singing the blues, all alone on a stage with nothing to prove
And I’m waiting for a sign that the chorus bells will chime
Singing together as one we will raise up the roof, skies unfurl
Singing together as one side by side we stand as proof
That the world can be better together singing as one
By the light of the sun we will meet in the spring
Although winter our spirits may splinter we still sing
Ne’r can one go wrong with family forged in song
Chorus
Nearly time for the glass to return to the bar
One more song for the road to show them who we are
One more voice could light the stars if sounding in harmony with ours
